There was a moment of profanity on MSNBC on Saturday during a discussion on New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

"New York was once the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic in America. Today New York State's positivity rate is 3.6%. But Gov. Andrew Cuomo's handling of the pandemic is now the subject of an investigation by the FBI and the U.S. Attorney in Brooklyn," MSNBC's Joshua Johnson reported. "A new report from New York's Attorney General, Letitia James, accuses the state of undercounting COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes by as much as half."

"This week a group of Democrats in the New York State Assembly circulated a letter among themselves seeking support to strip Gov. Cuomo of his emergency powers," Johnson noted.

The host played a clip by Assemblymember Ron Kim saying the governor berated him after being accused of a cover-up. He then played a clip of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio discussing the governor's temperament.

Johnson interviewed Assemblymember Yuh-Line Niou, who recounted a time Cuomo's spokesperson referred to lawmakers seeking campaign finance reform as "f*cking idiots."
